Just a stone's throw from the Sidi Ramdan mosque, in the heart of the Casbah, this restaurant is a must in Algiers. It's the place to go for freshly caught sardines, either grilled or in sauce, accompanied by French fries. Very popular, the place is a victim of its own success! The room is small, so you'll have to be patient to get a table - there's always a queue. Once seated, the view of the bay is breathtaking. Hanging on the walls, you won't be able to miss the photos of all the celebrities who have passed through here.
