At Le Tyrolien, the restaurant serves only grilled meats in an atypical and convivial setting, and it's been a hit since 1963, as the front of the establishment indicates. We eat at the counter around the fireplace and the chef's kitchen, grilling meat before our very eyes. Grilled meats are served with a green salad and onions, as well as a plate of hmiss. Maurad, the owner, is adorable and knows how to welcome his customers. As proof, the TV5 team always comes here to eat when they're reporting from Algiers. It's their favorite address!

Hi gatsby, I think that somehow you are in your exaggerating reviews as two adult and conscious guests disagree one your reviews, it is known in Algiers that Le Tyrolien is the best place where you may eat the best meat in, guests are chosen, the enviroment is cosy welcome is warm, so I suggest the you 5th to visit and travel to know whats good and what S not.
Very pleasant restaurant with a quite particular concept since you can eat sat on a stool at the bar.
