PRINCESS CEMETERY
Cemetery at the top of the street with legends about the princesses N'Fissa and Fatma, the daughters of Hassan Pasha.
At the top of the street was the Sidi Ben Ali cemetery, better known as the cemetery of the princesses. Although this place belongs to the past, we think it's worth mentioning because it has inspired writers, painters and travelers alike. This is the resting place of Princesses N'Fissa and Fatma, the daughters of Hassan Pacha. Legend has it that, infatuated with the same prince, the sisters let themselves die of love. The epitaphs bear witness to another story, that of two princesses so beautiful that death took them from life before they could grow old.
