The Centre des Glycines was created by Father Henri Teissier in 1966 for religious living in Algeria. Still frequented by clergymen, it also welcomes Algerian and foreign researchers working on Algeria and the Maghreb. It has a library, a center for learning dialectal Arabic and Tamazight, and offers accommodation for researchers. Regular organization of conferences, training courses and educational activities.
