This villa in Algiers, one of the Fahs' one hundred and twenty residences, currently houses a health center.
The Djenane Raïs-Hamidou, later called Villa du Traité by the French, is one of the 120 residences of the fahs. Currently occupied by a health center, this former summer residence of the eighteenth century belonged to the famous privateer Raïs-Hamidou. It was within these walls that the peace and surrender treaty of the dey Hussein was signed on 5 July 1830. The villa cannot be visited but you can admire its facades, its carved wooden doors and its carved windows..
