Essentially European invoice paintings from the th to the th century (Fantin-Latour, Fromentin, Delacroix, Corot, Monet, Vuillard or Utrillo) to more recent works of Wilfredo Lam or Matta, sculptures and drawings, including works by Rodin, Maillol and Bourdelle, and a large collection of works of Algérianistes (Albert Marquet) and of contemporary Algerian artists, including the painters Boutaleb, Bouzid, Baya, Khadda, Benanteur, Martinez, Farès, Benatoura and Temmam or Racim. On the ground floor, a set of contemporary works was offered to Algeria by artists from all countries that had supported the struggle for independence. Also note that the building, opened in 1930 to replace the Museum of Fine Arts, which until then was the location of the current hotel safir, is very beautiful and offers its balconies and terraces magnificent views of the test garden.
