Not far from the Monument aux Martyrs, the former Boulevard Bru, now Boulevard des Martyrs, winds its way through the heights of Algiers. The view of the city from this artery is splendid. Nicknamed the "Balcony of Algiers", it offers a breathtaking panorama of the white houses stretching out before the sea. At night, the spectacle is perhaps even more beautiful with the city lights. In fact, many people don't hesitate to cross traffic to immortalize the view. Watch out for heavy and fast-moving traffic on the boulevard!
