Khaled Mahiout has been a carpenter since the age of 14. Having inherited his father's and uncle's expertise and sensitivity to Moorish and neo-Moorish architecture, he quickly specialized in art and traditional joinery. Together with his son, he works on renovating the woodwork of traditional houses. If you visit his workshop, climb up to the terrace for a fabulous panoramic view of the Kasbah and the port.
