MONT DE DOVILLE
This mountain is a magnificent viewpoint to see the blue immensity of the sea to the west, and the Channel Islands.
This magnificent viewpoint, culminating at 130 metres, is the junction between the relatively flat centre of the Cotentin and the hills of the north of the department. You go up a small road that climbs steeply at times and reach the top. From there, you can see the blue immensity of the sea to the west, and the Channel Islands. On the east side, the surrounding mountains, and further on, the marshes, which take on the appearance of a real inland sea in winter. The remains of an old mill and a chapel crown the ensemble, where the winds sometimes blow hard.
