The "voie verte" is a place of surprises in Ducey-les-Chéris.
Some of the old railway lines in the Manche department can be used by bike, horse or on foot, and are nicely called "voies vertes". The one from Vire to Domfront and from Ducey to Pontaubault is part of the Véloscénie, which links Paris to Mont-Saint-Michel. And these places are not without their surprises: superb landscapes, views over the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, beautiful hills (watch out for your calves!). An original and bucolic way of discovering the region, and one that is becoming increasingly popular.
