This large hotel has 90 rooms all with air conditioning, in an impeccable comfort, but without a real atmosphere. In the garden you can refresh yourself with a head in the swimming pool, in the evening you can sit in the bar after dinner in the restaurant.

The stuff is lovely and polite and helpful i must say.
Ive only had brekfast there and its totally great, loved it.
Let us start with the positive points first, the airconditioners in the rooms work. And this heat that is rather a necessity more than it is a luxury. Bedding seems to be clean and not too worn which also makes a stay more comfortable.
Breakfast also is not bad at all and manages to set up your day well.
The negatives are items that can be fixed and rather easily. Should I say most of them can be fixed easily.
The first negative is the staff. For the simple reason they lack proper training. A well trained attentive staff member can make an average establishment into a good one.
The restaurant for dinner also leaves much to be desired as service was slow and the menu limited with items not being in stock.
The overall experience leaves one decidedly underwhelmed given that it is part of Protea Marriot group.
The problem one has to deal with is finding a reputable establishment and in areas such as these one tends to revert to tried and tested brands. It’s when these brands then fail to live up to their own standards that one feels let down.
Not the worst place I’ve had to spend a night but certainly not the best either. Next time I would think twice before returning as a guest
