REY STONE DOLMEN
A megalithic assemblage consisting of a stone block weighing almost 10 tonnes
Close to the Semaphore, here is a megalithic assemblage composed of a block of stone weighing nearly 10 tons, balanced on three other rocks, themselves extended by lines of half-buried stones. The stacking is said to be the Neolithic site of Castel Dolmen, of the Rey stone or of the Trepied. Whether it is a surprising natural assembly, reaching a height of 2.65 metres, the remains of a Merovingian cemetery or traces of a place of worship for the Gauls, no one has an answer.
