Municipal campsite offering a family or friendly stay a few metres from the main beaches.

150 m from the ocean, this municipal campsite is very popular with surfers, families, but also by a foreign clientele who appreciates its conviviality and its shaded pitches. Between forest, lake and ocean, the site is ideal for those who want to spend a quiet nature holidays, without fuss in a privileged setting and thus, in harmony with nature. The campsite of the ocean has a delicatessen and the equipments that you need to make your stay as pleasant as possible, you can even rent a bike on site. You come to rest, no problem, peace is assured from 10pm to 8am by a seriously applied internal regulation. The campsite of the ocean, it is the very comfortable one where you will find a playground, ping-pong table... to relax with friends or family a few meters from the ocean and its beautiful and large beaches.

Last year I was told the freezer problem would be sorted and we had the same problems this year. Our blue things go missing and we can't find them as the freezer is too full. Then if we use a bottle because we have lost our blue things we get told off. This is very poor from the campsite. Please just buy another freezer to keep everybody happy. Most campsites provide a big freezer with plenty of space and let customers freeze water bottles to take water to the beach. This is important. Thanks

Camping calme avec une situation géographique idéale.
Cependant, l’emplacement n’est pas des plus pratique pour y installer une tente.
Nous avons trouvé dommage de devoir payer un supplément pour le véhicule alors qu’une place près de l’emplacement n’est pas garantie.

Wir hatten zwei schöne Wochen auf dem Campingplatz. Die Toiletten haben leider manchmal etwads gwstunken, aber sonst war alles gut: Schöner Platz, ruhig, netter Service, guter Laden vor Ort.
Die Spielplätze könnten bessere Spielgeräte haben.

Nach 20 Jahren, wollten wir unbedingt wieder hierher. Wir wurden auch nach so langer Zeit nicht enttäuscht. Die Umgebung genauso schön wie damals. Das Dorf Carcans Plage hat auch nach so langer Zeit seinen natürlichen, entspannten Charme behalten. Der Platz liegt mitten im Kiefernwald und dadurch gut beschattet. Trotz Hitze am Tag, kühlt es sich Nachts immer angenehm ab. Nur durch die Sanddüne vom Strand getrennt. Man kann Nachts das Rauschen des Meeres hören. Trotz vieler Jugend.- und Familiencamps sehr leise.
Lediglich das Sanitärgebäude auf dem Wohnmobilplatz könnte etwas modernisiert werden. Durchgehend Warmes Wasser wäre schon schön.
Der nächste Besuch wird nicht erst in 20 Jahren erfolgen????
