Small restaurant with a nice garden offering an excellent cuisine based on fresh and home-made products.
Here's a little restaurant we highly recommend! For the warm welcome, for the originality of the place and the concept, and of course for the cuisine... excellent (based on fresh, homemade produce). Truly, a wonderful surprise. Away from the center of Lacanau Océan, in a residential area, we arrived at number 3 and discovered a house with a cat nestling on the roof. We timidly enter a pretty, colorful garden, and it's Anne who warmly welcomes us onto the terrace, inviting us to come in and settle down, a bit like friends coming for dinner. This is confirmed by the cosy interior, with only twenty or so covers, contemporary decor, portraits of tomcats... and paperbacks of all kinds and ages that you can take away for 1 euro! Anne chats with us, brings us the menu on the slate (dishes change daily) and returns to her stoves. We opted for a charcuterie board as a starter (ham, sausage, gherkins), a real treat, then succumbed to the gambas a la plancha. We were tempted by a pastry, knowing that here too, everything was homemade... baba au rhum, tarte à la crème! But it was the lemon tart that we fell for without any regrets. Le Chat sur le Toit, an address to share with those you love!

Petit clin d’œil pour le cheesecake qui était parfait parfait !
En bref, un lieu mignon, loin de l’effervescence du centre de la station, où l’on mange et se sent bien ☀️
