Family Plus. Open from April 4 to November 2, 2025. Reservations recommended. 9.5 ha. 180 pitches (and 330 mobile homes). Exposure: shaded / semi-shaded. Soil: sandy. Relief: flat. Family and youth areas. Pitch + vehicle + 2 people (with 15 A) from €28. Mobile homes for 4 to 5 people from €472 to €2,450 per week. Minimum number of nights according to calendar. Néanmoins le camping est très bien situé, les animes ont vraiment la pêche, le camping est propre, la piscine est top pour les enfants de quoi passer un bon séjour. Merci à vous
sauf invasion de fourmis dans la cuisine à notre arrivée , puis chambres et armoires 2 ou 3 jours après .
L' accueil nous a fourni un insecticide, mais une fois les vêtements rangé c'est un peu galère .
We rented a mobile home, everything was clean, all personnel was kind and helpful to us, and reasonable Covid precautions were taken. The animation seemed to be focused on French speaking guests, but this was not our paramount interest. I cannot rate animation for children as our children are already grown-up now. They still like Lacanau beach.
Don't forget you sunglasses and suntan lotion! Atlantic waves may vary between "nice, but uninteresting" to risky or even break-neck-like. Be prepared to move you towel in case the front parts of beach are flooded at high tide - which we always find very funny to watch. ;-)
With a bit of luck you may have wind in the evening on the not so crowded beach to fly kites. Plan at least two weeks if you want to make sure you get the perfect photo (to avoid clouds) of sunset or milky way or Perseid showers.
