FÊTE DE LA NOISETTE DE MER - FESTAVINO
Go there and contact
Created three years ago, this summer festival combines conviviality and gastronomy from Agathoise. Organised on the Mail de Rochelongue, it celebrates the richness of the "hazelnut of the sea", its real name Nassarius mutabilis. This small 4 cm long sea gastropod, only found in the Mediterranean, is fished on the coasts of Agde and Grau-du-Roi. This event allows you to discover it in a festive way thanks to the organisation of several tastings, free creative workshops for the youngest and concerts. All of this is punctuated by explanations of the fishing techniques used and the tastiest recipes ("à la catalane", "au bouillon", "sautés en persillade", etc.). The festival is also the setting for the competition for the best sea hazelnut recipe. It will name the winner of the diploma for the best recipe and the golden hazelnut trophy, both of which will be awarded the following year.
