The mussel stuffed with agathoise is one of the great local specialities, to the point that it has had its own World Championship for five years! Supported by the very serious "Confrérie des farceurs et farceuses de moules et d'encornets" (Brotherhood of Mussel and Squid Stuffers), the event sees candidates vying for the championship titles before a jury of experts. Over the last four editions, the event has had about fifteen amateurs and a few professionals, they competed in separate categories for a little more balance. Of course, the spectators are invited to participate by tasting the different prepared dishes! All this takes place on the Old Port and in good spirits, a good excuse to set off to discover the cultural and gastronomic heritage of the West Hérault.
