Nature reserve located at the western end of the Thau Basin, home to a mosaic of Mediterranean environments, beaches, dunes, etc

To the west of the Thau Basin, this national nature reserve is home to unique biodiversity. A refuge for over 250 bird species, it is a migration and nesting site for rare species. Pink flamingos, swallows and avocets can all be found here, and in winter large flocks of ducks can be seen. The reserve, classified Natura 2000, can be explored thanks to discovery and awareness-raising activities organized throughout the year, focusing on the local fauna, flora and history.
