As a result of global warming at high altitude, this glacier - one of Europe's largest skiable glaciers - is losing its thickness, making it impossible to ski all summer long. So it's a late spring/early summer opening, depending on conditions, to enjoy this high-altitude ski area culminating at 3,600 m. After taking the Jandri Express and a sub-glacial funicular, you can climb the Dôme de Puy-Sallié, offering superb panoramic views from the Belvédère des Écrins. Pedestrian access for a unique walk on the heights.

possibilité d'aller voir le belvédère des Ecrins, mais attention au vertige. Dommage que la montée en téléphérique soit si chère.
