ICE CAVERN
In the world's highest and largest ice cave, at an altitude of 3,400 m, sculptors recreate dinosaur figures.
At an altitude of 3,400 m in an authentic glacier, this is the highest and largest ice cave in the world! It was dug in 1993 by two mountain guides, Bruno Gardent and Bernard Lambolez, and allows visitors to penetrate the interior of the glacier - which is constantly melting - at a depth of 30 m! Every year, sculptors renew the figures on ice, featuring dinosaurs and dragons... Grandiose! An ice cave can also be visited in the Alpe-d'Huez ski resort in the same massif.
