Nestled between downtown and midtown, on the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail, the Westchester Lagoon is an oasis away from the hustle and bustle. The ideal park for runners, cyclists, walkers. The water base attracts stand-up paddlers, kayakers and offers a multitude of activities. Many birds, including ducks, pigeons and geese nest in summer on the small island of the lagoon. Salmon can be seen spawning in the rivers. A small cafe and a playground complete this ideal setting for a day out.
