A 9-hour cruise to observe Seward's marine wildlife.
Of course, the longer the cruise, the greater the chances of observing marine wildlife. The 6-hour formula is a good compromise and gives as much chance to meet whales and orcas (in season) as sea lions, etc. Meals are taken on board or on Fox Island. The 9-hour cruise explores more of the fjord. After Cape Aialik and around Harbor and Natoa Islands, open your eyes wide even if the captain does it to see if the whales are there. We are almost always sure to see even if nothing is ever guaranteed.
