This rather typical and rustic lodge was opened in 1952 by Pat and Helen Gwin, whose name it has kept. It offers small, clean, comfortable, self-contained log cabins that can accommodate both couples and families, depending on the size of the couple. The site also has camper and tent sites, a bar, a restaurant and a small souvenir store. It serves more as a stopover than an extended stay, unless you're a fishing enthusiast who wants a front-row seat to the tributaries of salmon rivers.
