PRATT MUSEUM
Museum in Homer with an aquarium and a small botanical garden, presenting an exhibition of ancient objects belonging to the American Indians
The Homer Society of Natural History's Museum, also known as the Pratt Museum in honor of the donors who made its construction possible, invites visitors to learn about the natural ecosystems and culture of the people of Kachemak Bay. It traces the history and reveals current local customs. There is of course an exhibition of ancient objects belonging to the Amerindians, but there is also an aquarium with local fish and shellfish, a small botanical garden to discover the surrounding flora, mainly in Kachemak Bay.
