There’s no shortage of places in the region to commemorate the events of 1944. To find the one in Graignes, head towards Montmartin-en-Graignes and drive up to the memorial. In the cemetery, walk along the wall and there a door leads to the belvedere. This is the highest point in the marsh, at 28 meters above sea level. From here, you can see the entire Taute valley, Mont Castre, the Saint-Georges-de-Bohon reserve and Port-Saint-Pierre.
