This is one of Finland's major summer festivals, known throughout Europe and one of the country's oldest. During the day, concerts take place outdoors in the beautiful Kirjurinluoto park on the riverbank, and in the evening in large concert halls and smaller, more intimate clubs. The festival, which takes place over a week in the middle of July, attracts ever more prestigious names: irrefutable proof of its unmissable status!
