Very good location in Santa Claus village with good tourist connections

Santa's office and the hustle and bustle of Santa's Village's central square are just a few minutes' walk away, but Glass Resort enjoys its own private peace and quiet in a little corner of the woods.

The nearest airport is Rovaniemi Airport (RVN), just 3 km from Glass Resort. You can also reach Rovaniemi by train. Rovaniemi railway station is 10 km from the Glass Resort. Long-distance buses from/to the north (direction Inari) pass by Santa's Village. The Santa Claus Village bus stop is approx. 200 m from the Glass Resort.

Glass Resort offers transfer services to and from the airport and the town of Rovaniemi.

Arctic Circle and Santa Claus Village

The Arctic Circle is a circle of latitude extending 66°33′45.9″ north of the equator. It marks the southernmost latitude at which the sun can remain continuously below or above the horizon for 24 hours. These phenomena are known as the midnight sun in summer and polar night ("Kaamos") in winter.

In Rovaniemi, the Arctic Circle crosses Santa Claus Village, located eight kilometers north of the city center, where it is clearly marked. Santa's Village in Lapland is a popular place to cross the Arctic Circle: here the line is marked, and you can even get a certificate confirming the feat.

You can meet Santa and cross the magical Arctic Circle every day at Santa's Village in Rovaniemi, Lapland, Finland.

It’s a wonderful hotel. Location is good. Rooms are nice,comfortable and clean. Jakuzi is super located outside on the snow.Breakfast and dinner are delicious. Friendly staffs. Thanks for everything to everybody.

Glass Resort was unreal. We had to shift our Jan '22 trip a few days to stay here vs. other nearby hotels, and it was absolutely the correct choice.

The views into the sky and forest from the huge "igloo" windows highlighted the beauty of winter in the arctic circle, and nothing compares to sipping Long Drinks in your private hot tub late into the night as the Aurora Borealis swirls above. The buffet breakfast was a great start before venturing to check out Santa's Village, etc, and the prix fixe multi-course dinner was delicious. Lots of options for our vegan friends as well!

Truly can't speak highly enough about Glass Resort. Travel here with your friends, with your partner, with a stranger. You won't be disappointed.
