The farm is located along the Ounasjoki River and is crossed by the Arctic Circle. Here you can go on reindeer sleigh rides, eat and even sleep in a lodge, listening to the legends and stories of the owner, who is inexhaustible on reindeer. A magical and timeless place, ideal for meeting these endearing animals, which have been feeding the tales and legends of the peoples of the North for centuries.

Nice experience, only It felt awkward as man was walking in front of our sliegh with reindeer. I imagined it differently:)

Fattoria di renne con annesso giro in slitta. Imparagonabilmente migliore di quello iper turistico che propongono al Christmas Village!

Must visit when in Rovaniemi. Very beautiful place, with its long history. Cool adventure when dashing through the snow in a one deer open sleigh) short distanse is quite enough when with kids. Like a winter fairytale, I highly recommend

The pros : nice location inside the Finnish forest
The cons : poor signage. After parking on the main road, we had to guess how to get to the actual farm by following other groups. When arriving on site and close to the reindeer, I was first mistaken for being the leader of the group. Once I clarified that I was a “walk-in” trying my luck to visit the farm, I was rudely turned down, explained that I shouldn’t touch the reindeer, and that I had no right to be in that location without a booking. Staff added that no booking was available for several weeks anyways.
