Five days and five nights, under a big top, to discover or rediscover cult films or new releases, in the heart of Lapland.
Since the creation of the festival in 1986, the world of cinema meets every year in mid-June on the occasion of this rather special festival created by the filmmakers and brothers Mika and Aki Kaurismäki. The idea is to gather the moviegoers under a tent for 5 days and 5 nights while the sun is shining endlessly. Cult films or new productions of high quality are shown here, in a very special atmosphere that you won't find anywhere else!
