Petronella refers to the intrepid woman journalist and adventurer known for her participation in the 1949 gold rush to the region. In 1989, Saara Mehtäjärvi created this restaurant that pays homage to her by offering a cuisine that highlights Scandinavian products by the fire. The dishes are superb and delicious: both the cep soup and the fish of the day. For the sweet side, the mille-feuille and the chocolate fondant are exquisite. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and one spends a pleasant evening there.
