Small, glass-enclosed cabin for watching the northern lights on the icy Lake Inari.

Exceptional experience on the icy lake of Inari where a snowmobile comes to drop you off in the evening to sleep under the stars in a small glass cabin that allows you to observe the northern lights... Simply magical. Each cabin has heating, lights, a double bed, toilet and wifi. In the morning, the Atte team will come back to pick you up and take you directly to breakfast. At the base camp in the main building, there are communal showers, toilets, kitchen and lounge.

Overnight staying in a glass-roof-cabin set on a frozen lake, combined with the presence of northern lights dancing above us, is a unique experience. It was one of the greatest experiences of all our travels!
In contrast with people who stayed in southern latitudes in Lapland that same night, we were able to see and capture aurora borealis.
Thanx Appe and Alex for the warm hospitality.

We stayed for two nights, and it was a wonderful experience! The team was very friendly and accommodating. The basecamp was well-maintained, very clean, and breakfast was delicious. The cabin was comfortable and had everything you need (heaters/toilets/comfy bed) to catch the aurora at night. Not to mention, trying their sauna and playing around with the kicksled was very nice! We also tried activities such as ice fishing & cross country ski, which were very rewarding & fun. Atte explained all the tips how to catch fish and what Finns do in the winter; if you caught some fish, they would be your lunch :-)

Highly recommend staying with them!

Once in a lifetime experience you simply don’t want to miss. Atte, Alexis and Matt are all such kind and genuine people who take the time to make sure that your experience is the best it possibly can be. From sleeping out on the ice, to dinner over an open fire, to breakfast back at basecamp and a morning spent in the sauna, everything was simply amazing. DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS EXPERIENCE. You will not regret it.

Stayed for two nights and the experience of staying here is a unique experience. You will stay in the lake from 8:00 pm to 8:00 am, good for watching northern light and stars. The owner, Atte, is very nice, and he will prepare a homey dinner for u, with the selection of fish, meat and vegetable. U will stay in a small hut with other guests for dinner, very interesting indeed! Breakfast is nothing fancy but very homey, you will have breakfast in the base site with other guests. The property is clean.

Other than that, Atte will assist to arrange outdoor activities for u if you ask, like husky ride and ice fishing.

In short, the property offers unique experience and the owner is a super nice one.
