If the Korpikartano Hotel is a 30-minute drive from Inari, it is worth going there just to experience life in a small reindeer herding village called Menesjärvi. The establishment was a Saami village school transformed into a hotel in 2009 with basic and comfortable rooms. Here you can enjoy the luxury of silence in a beautiful natural setting and comfortable and rustic accommodation on the shores of Lake Menesjärvi. Lemmenjoki National Park, the largest in Finland, is very close. Ideal for travellers looking for wilderness and a change of scenery. Sauna. The restaurant on site is a real Finnish-Lapone-Estonian cuisine with good burgers.
