The island is connected to the major cities of Colombia by daily flights with Avianca, Latam, Wingo and Viva Air. It also has air links with Panama (Copa), Costa Rica (Copa, Avianca) and Canada (Air Transat, seasonal). It takes less than 2 hours to get from Bogotá to San Andrés. Satena and Searca operate daily flights to Providencia. 20 minutes of flight in a small cuckoo clock. Expect to be around $500,000 per round trip. Be careful, the weight of the luggage is limited: 10 kg in the hold and 5 kg in hand luggage.
The airport has 2 ATMs and a currency exchange office, as well as a small tourist information point. A taxi to the main hotel area, 10-15 minutes walk, costs about $15,000.
