DE VLAAMSCHE POT
Family restaurant in Bruges in a gothic house with soft light and harpsichord music.
This family-run restaurant is tucked away on a side street in the center of town, but recommended by locals for its Flemish specialties. You're already transported to another era by the harpsichord music, the kitsch decor in an overloaded Gothic house, the subdued lighting, the low ceiling and the fireplace. Starters include herring with beet, while main courses include fish waterzooi or carbonnade made to perfection. Mussels and Flemish rabbit are also on the menu. The owner likes to sit down at the end of service to chat with his customers.
