Although a little off-centre, this unique 4-star hotel is worth a visit. Whether you are a big Froome fan or an occasional cyclist, you will not regret your stay in a quiet, natural setting, far enough from the tourist cacophony of Bruges while remaining easily accessible. Velotel is located 2.2 km north of the city centre, but many means of transport are available: bus stop 2 minutes walk, rental of electric bicycles at the hotel, free parking, taxi. The hotel offers 112 double rooms, family rooms and suites with great comfort and modern, refined and original decoration.

Hartelijk ontvangst, gedreven personeel en een manager (Anne Marie) die het bedrijf ademt en ervoor leeft als het ware. De buffetlunch die we mochten nuttigen was ruim voldoende. Lekker van smaak en voorgeschoteld met oog voor detail. Daarom komen we steeds terug.
Héél wat bekende sporters (en ploegen) hebben de laatste 6 jaar ook de weg naar hier gevonden.

Prachtige plaats. Heb er niet gelogeerd maar een paar keer binnengeweest om te plassen. Was te gast in het aangrenzend woonzorgcentrum. De bewoner bij wie ik op bezoek was is uitermate tevreden over Velotel.
