Near the church of Saint-Gilles, a more than recommendable hotel, whose typical architecture and flowery decoration do not leave one indifferent. Especially in this price range and in a charming area of Bruges, close to green spaces and canals and only a ten minute walk from the tourist centre. The interior layout is somewhat dilapidated, especially the bedding. All 23 rooms are equipped with a bathroom, television and telephone. There is also a lift, which is quite rare in Bruges in small hotels.

The bedrooms are a little bit tired and could do with a refresh. Our shower room door didn't close properly and so water was going all over the floor. Consequently, part of the floor was rotten. The wardrobe was far too small to accommodate two people's clothes. There were just 4 hangers.
The morning breakfast was very good but the experience was slightly marred by the fact that the bean to coffee machine could not dispense full caffeine coffee, only decaf.
Mijn moeder en haar man lagen in bed en stonden op het punt om in slaap te vallen tot er hevig geklopt werd op de deur. Ze zijn lastig gevallen midden in de nacht omdat ze “te luid” waren terwijl dit niet zo was. De uitbater en twee andere mannen stonden aan de deur en commandeerde hun de kamer te verlaten. Mijn moeder was naakt, ze lieten haar niet omkleden door de deur open te laten. Ze bleven lachen naar haar met een smerige grijns, goed wetende dat ze naakt was! Ze waren heel verbaal agressief en luid en zelfs ook fysiek agressief. Ze wouden de deur niet toe doen voor 2 min zodat ze haar kon omkleden! WALGELIJK!!! Dit hele gedoe was onterecht en wees er maar zeker van dat wij een klacht gaan indienen bij de politie!
Hotel manager ons kamer binnen gevallen met reserve sluitels, vol met leugens and heel agressieve!
