Convenient Location, good access to car parking, town centre and train station.
Ideal for short breaks
only one drawback, the bus network that ends early (to return in the evening the restaurant) it is not necessary to eat late!!! but in Bruges everyone can dine around 18:00. used to take!!
4* for the friendly girl behind the desk
1* well.........here we go....
Upon arrival we thought we had walked into A&E!! A quick double check and nope, we were in the right place. The girl at the desk was lovely and polite, but did laugh and joke when we asked if there was a restaurant or somewhere to eat. With a polite giggle, the vending machines were pointed out to us, much to our dissapointment
Up the elevator and the door opens, then boom! The stench of stale cigarettes hits you with nowhere to run!
The rooms!!
Dental practice or hospital ward, it was hard to decifer between the 2. But again nope, this was where you sleep. Mattress was like a park bench, no tea or coffee facilities, tv required the hubble telescope to view, and the shower broke so ended up like a garden hose!
The walls were so thin, you could here the number 2's from either side and thier current state.
Sleep, what sleep. We were glad to get up and go.
But wait... what about breakfast?
What about it? Just avoid it and grab something local unless you enjoy paper maché toast and coloured water for orange juice.
On a positive note, check out was quick. Just throw your key card in a box and run, run like forest gump and don't go back.
Think I've covered it all ????
