The most historic hotel in Bruges with an indoor garden, sauna, steam room and gym.
This family-run hotel, managed by Betty, a very welcoming Francophile, is housed in a 16th-century building, where even the fireplace in the lounge is period. There's a choice of eight different types of room, all furnished in the old-fashioned style with chandeliers and wood panelling, and varying in size. The breakfast room, with its high ceilings, large mirrors and marble, is princely. A sauna, hammam and gym are hidden away in a pretty French-style interior garden adorned with a fountain. All in all, it's a beautiful symbiosis of charm, history and conviviality.

We had a lovely clean room.
And we walked right into the centre.
The hotel looked very nice.
Clairement rien à voir avec un 4 étoiles ... On nous a répondu que la chambre était premier prix, qu'importe dans un hotel classé ainsi toutes les chambres doivent être conformes sinon manière détournée d'attirer le client et de le tromper...
Il est très bien placé en ville, a deux pas de la foule, mais pas dedans!
les chambres sont sympa et pleines de charmes et le petit déjeuner est immense.
Le prix peut paraitre un peu élevé de prime abord, mais il vaut largement chaque euros que vous dépenserez, une excellente adresse, ce qui est rare à Bruges!
Kamer 29 was erg ruim met een vintage carpet en een minibar en een goed bed.
Daarnaast was de badruimte vrij ruim. Als er een zeep Plateau was, zou dat wel handig zijn.
Service vond ik een beetje minder bij de balie, de jongeheer kwam een beetje ongeïnteresseerd over.
Ontbijt vond ik matig. Sommige broodjes leken niet zo vers.
De kamer was wel aan de prijzige kant, voor een nacht betaalden wij €214
