A shopping center in the middle of a historic city? Why not, especially if it is well done and open air, with the different shops grouped around a courtyard (above a large parking lot). There are some excellent addresses such as the Scandinavian COS, the men's clothing brand New Zealand Auckland, but above all, Monsieur Kamiel, a Belgian store of decoration and tableware with a nice selection of original objects, which extends to an adjoining café.
