The Bruges Beer Experience is well worth the detour. Bottled in a completely refurbished space, it focuses on the fun, family-friendly aspect of the visit. There's a quiz to test your knowledge, and each object or presentation is interactive on your iPad mini. After an hour on two floors, the tour ends in a modern, airy bar area overlooking the Grand-Place, where you can sample the promised beers (15 cl). Plenty of choice on tap, including some exclusive Bruges beers.
