LUMINA DOMESTICA
Museum located in Brugge, allowing to follow the whole history of lighting, with the largest collection of lamps in the world
How did our ancestors light their homes? You'll find the answer in this museum. Created on the initiative of a collector, it allows you to follow the entire history of lighting, from the origin of fire to the present day. On display is an impressive collection of some 6,000 antique items (candlesticks, oil lamps, kerosene lamps, gas lamps, electric lamps, etc.), some of them very valuable, making it the largest collection of lamps in the world. But don't expect an interactive museum with films or experiments.
