In 1912, this former apothecary invented the praline, a small filled chocolate bite. He also patented the ballotin, the perfect receptacle for these sweet treats! It all began in Brussels, in the magnificent Galerie de la Reine boutique. His expertise in luxury chocolates and cookies seduced many, including the Belgian court (of which Neuhaus is a patented supplier). Today, its success extends worldwide.
