BISTRO VILLA JULIA
This is a fine address. Not only is the Belle Époque house splendid, typical of the Flemish coast with its corbelled facade and pretty garden terrace, but the food is fabulous, both in terms of aesthetics and original compositions. There are no main courses or starters here, just a list of seasonal dishes to choose from in tapas, starter or main course versions, simplicity itself. Lobster, fish and seafood are just as varied as the meats. As an added bonus, the restaurant's extended opening hours are a rarity in the region.
