ABBEY OF THE LUCERNE D'OUTREMER
Founded in the century, this abbey is one of the most complete examples of medieval Premonstratensian architecture.
Founded in the 12th century by Premonstratensian canons, the abbey earned the nickname Outremer for its attachment to the kings of England during the Hundred Years’ War. The abbey church, the oldest part of which dates back to 1164, features Romanesque windows on the second floor and Gothic vaulting on the second. Today, the abbey offers one of the most complete examples of medieval Premonstratensian architecture, following the remarkable restoration work it has undergone since 1959.

Nous étions en van, il y a un parking pour passer la nuit au calme, toilette, poubelles, et une table de pique-nique.
Réveille au son des cloches, petits oiseaux et beuglement des vaches de la ferme.
On reviendra.????????
