Here is a pub where typical Californian influences are mixed. Founded in 1982 by British musician Kim Gardner, this place that serves as a restaurant, bar, café and concert hall is now run by Paula and her daughter Ashlee. The dishes are hearty and the choice is wide, from fish and chips to homemade pies and beef Wellington. In the summer, the patio with its foliage and white candle lights is particularly appreciated.

Shepherd's Pie was delicious. Sat heavy and got full quickly. Wish I had more time to enjoy the atmosphere but I was on a lunch break. You can park in the back.

Fish and chips were tasty. Bangers and Mash had too much fennel in the sausage for my preference. Good sized portions. Nice people cozy atmosphere.

Food was amazing! The atmosphere was beautiful! The service was not good…. Even though the food was excellent, I won’t be going back.

Great spot for classic pub fare. Happy hour deals are solid, too.
