The whimsical, colourful and trendy decoration is the ideal setting to uncork a Thai beer before an evening in the neighbourhood's bars! Surprisingly cheap, Night + Market Song offers an authentic cuisine, with sharp and fresh flavours. Try coconut rice, a sticky rice cooked in coconut milk, and, at lunch, Thai Boxing Chicken, a barbecue chicken traditionally served around Bangkok's boxing rings by street vendors.

A good place to eat burgers. It is said that the owner of this chain, Adam Fleischman, tasted all thehamburgers in L.A. to design the best ones for his restaurant. The burger breads come from a Portuguese bakery and the fillings are varied, with parmesan cheese, roasted onion or shiitake mushrooms. The Umami burger is probably the most successful on the menu.

The chef at the helm of this restaurant, Angelo Peloni, serves authentic Italian cuisine. The tortilla is made from flour (not maize) and is very fine, and there is also a certain resemblance to the French pancakes. The leaders of the Sonora region are also known to cook the country's best asada meat. It can be said that reputation is respected with meat cooked with a delicious wood fire. For a first one we recommend the very tempting Bean & Cheese Burrito. A superb address for a quick lunch in a family atmosphere.

In the heart of Downtown, Maccheroni Republic is renowned for its delicious fresh pasta, made in-house every day. Ravioli with pumpkin, rigatoni with burrata, bigoli with angus and sausage ragout, linguine with seafood - scallops, shrimps and clams - agnolotti filled withosso bucco... More than fifteen recipes in all. Excellent value for money. Plus: the pretty little terrace. All in all, if we had to choose one Italian address in Los Angeles on this type of budget, it would be this one!

Spago features a decorative wall of 7,000 bottles of wine, a patio with a glass roof and an open kitchen with a contemporary feel. It's known for its 100% California specialties, with an emphasis on provenance and quality ingredients. Add a touch of inventiveness and you have one of the most iconic restaurants in Los Angeles, opened by the highly acclaimed Austrian-American chef Wolfgang Puck in 1982. Puck has cooked for several American presidents.

The kitchen isn't what distinguishes this restaurant from the gastronomic stage in L.A. It is a mixture of traditional architecture and typical Hollywood stories that make the best of Musso & Frank. It was one of the favourite places of Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. If it is not so frequented by stars, it remains in memories as an old Hollywood institution. Cocktails are also a good argument for coming here. You are discouraged from tasting vegetables or talking with old servers; on the other hand, let's go to the bar where you will certainly enjoy more.

Providence is renowned for being the best seafood restaurant in the United States. Without exaggeration, the plates here resemble masterpieces. The food is as beautiful to contemplate as it is delicious to savor: each dish is of rare finesse, executed with unparalleled skill. As the tasting menu changes frequently, it's difficult to recommend a particular dish; what's certain is that you'll come away from your evening amazed, with your taste buds full of fish. Looking for a good breakfast or an American-style brunch? Look no further: Millie's Cafe is a reference in the field. If you want to fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the place, ask to sit at the counter, opposite the kitchen, where the chefs are busy. Otherwise, the small adjacent dining room and the sidewalk terrace could not be nicer. However, you will have to wait in line, especially on weekends, starting at 10 am. A little tip: if you come alone, you'll have to go in front of everyone else.
