It's way too expensive for what you get. And not good at all.

Dismal sad place. Walked in there was no one to greet us, no one at the bar and not one server helping anyone. We grabbed two seats at the bar and sat down. 15 minutes later someone finally gave us menus and asked if we wanted to order. We did order reluctantly and the food was very bland. Beans tasted like they were canned, enchilada tortillas were still hard in some spots, the sauces had no flavor and the rice was totally a tomato mush. Place was super dirty and looked like the day after a Cinco de mayo party. But it was St. Patty's Day!! And to top it all of was SUPER expensive for that quality of food and experience. Won't be going back, too much to fix.

Delicious Mexican cuisine. My husband had the Mole Poblano ($35). He said the chicken was very tender and the Mole perfectly seasoned. It was served with the best plantains I've eaten. I had Chile Verde($27). Very nicely done with flavorful refried beans and sauce.
The service was adequate, the restaurant was clean, but not up to par with the elevated prices.

I’m literally still sitting here and had to review because it’s rare a dining experience checks all the boxes.

Upon walking in, we loved the vibe and atmosphere. Classy but casual and perfect for any occasion.

Everyone we encountered who works here was wonderful. Everyone is attentive and most importantly, kind. Our waiter Arturo was especially delightful!

Everything from the chips and salsa to the shrimp tacos to the elotes to the spicy marg was delicious, authentic, and cooked/made to perfection.

We eat at Frida's all the time. The food is great, although a bit expensive for Mexican. The best thing about the place are the drinks, the staff, and the happy hour. If you ever are in Westwood (or Brentwood) and want to get a good bite to eat, Frida's is a great option.

I stumbled in after a long day of meetings. I only went in because I saw lots of people inside having a good time. Service was excellent, very friendly and keen. However the steak meat was bad and so were the beans. Probably the worst mexican food I’ve ever had it was embarrassingly bad.

I kindly and quietly told the manager, paid fir the meal, left a good tip and left. I understand the economy is ruff and the servers have limited control over food quality.

Hopefully they fix the issue.

Big fan of the outpost at the Brentwood Country Mary. Food here was just as great - just the ambiance and service were a bit off (and didn’t really justify the price). A good spot to drop by - but still prefer the Brentwood outpost.

The $30 Frida Burrito just a dry tasteless burrito, that you can get even a bigger a better for $8 in a foodtruck anywere...not even a side of pico de gallo with it...a rip off stay away from this place..

I am always skeptical of non-vegan mexican restaurant’s vegan tacos. Often lacking in flavor or slathered in vegan cheese or some other horrible thing - but NOT Frida’s!!! Their cauliflower vegan tacos were amazing. Large serving too, if you make it a combo. I split that with my girlfriend and it was a nice size. Also comes with delicious black beans & rice. For a drink, I got the piña colada ????

Everything here exceeded our expectations - the waiter was caring and helpful, the dining room, with sports on TVs throughout, managed to be quiet enough for conversation, and the Mexican food (even the fountain drinks and a margarita) was especially good. The chips and salsa brought quickly to the table were notably fresh and tasty. Marinated carnitas, defatted but still very flavorful, was blended with perfect refried beans, bright guacamole and seasoned rice- not just randomly plopped into a tortilla wrap. We asked for more on the side and it was a perfect blend of chocolate and mild+ spices. A satisfying, fun place that seems reliable across the menu. We love famous and pioneering La Taqueria where we live (San Francisco), but nevertheless, Frida did not disappoint.

I visited Beverly Hills Frida a few years ago and had a great experience. However, my recent visit to Frida Westwood was quite different. The food didn't justify the high prices, especially the $30+ chicken fajitas, which were both burned and tasteless. When I requested flour tortillas instead of the corn ones provided, the waitress suggested ordering them as a side dish. The presentation was also unconventional, with one dish served in a container with a melted plastic lid. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

I'm stuck on the campechano burrito slathered in green sauce but I've had other yummy things here as well. The tortilla soup was a nice surprise — put me right over the edge so I couldn't quite finish my burrito.

Sunday night waiter is rude to customers and delivery drivers saw her attitude and instantly changed plans.

I had a truly disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was abysmal the staff seemed completely disinterested in their jobs. There was no attention to detail, and it felt like they couldn't care less about our dining experience. We left feeling disrespected and utterly let down. It’s no mystery why this place is empty.

I liked the atmosphere of the place. Nice, but you can’t feel underdressed. The service wasn’t very prompt although it was 6 pm, not busy at all. The food was average. My husband liked his tacos, but my enchiladas didn’t impress me at all. The chicken was terribly dry. I won’t be back - there are places with better Mexican food in the neighborhood!

A truly magical place! Best Mexican food, fantastic cocktails and the coolest, friendliest and funniest staff. I will definitely come back. We really need a Frida in Vienna/Austria too!
Gracias to the whole Frida-Team in Westwood and lovely Pablo! ????????????????
