Spago features a decorative wall of 7,000 bottles of wine, a patio with a glass roof and an open kitchen with a contemporary feel. It's known for its 100% California specialties, with an emphasis on provenance and quality ingredients. Add a touch of inventiveness and you have one of the most iconic restaurants in Los Angeles, opened by the highly acclaimed Austrian-American chef Wolfgang Puck in 1982. Puck has cooked for several American presidents.

Chef Puck over the decades has perfected fine dining in so many ways. His flagship Spago remains top notch and a go to for me and my friends since the Sunset days. The wine, food, atmosphere, and service is a pleasure to enjoy. Buon appetito!

I've been to this property many times, this time for an important business dinner. They handled it perfectly, had an excellent menu and beautiful wines from the best seat at the house... by the fireplace. Chef Wolfgang was there, very collegial and social. The service here is exceptional! I would give it six stars if I could.

We have been in LA from NYC for the month of January. We had planned to dine at Spago earlier but something always came up. We finally made it last night and we are only sorry we did not get there earlier as we would have gone more than once (we leave for NYC tomorrow.) The hostess was very gracious when she greeted us and had our table ready for us right away. We had a lovely and comfortable banquet in the main dining room. Our server Kat was very attentive and knowledgable. We were pleased by the numberous selections on the Dry January list and Kat made a good recommendaiton to my wife. We shared a mushroom pizza as an appetizer. It was perfect and delicious. We each had a hand made pasta for our main course. Both were flavorful and al dente. Finally we shared a scoop of the ice cream made everyday on sight. It was over the moon. I highly recommend this classic spot. It is a beautiful restaurant with excellent food and service.
