We got seafood kalguksu, sujaebi and bossam. They were all SO good! This is now one of our favorite restaurants in town.
Note: The valet parking is $4. We were charged $10 because they saw us come from outside the parking lot. We ate at Hangari and went for a walk. The valet guy was rude about it and said they were going to charge extra for not picking up the car after dining. We obviously didn't know about it. I know it's not the restaurant fault but it would have been nice if they mentioned it.

Food did not disappoint! Kalguksu noodles were cooked to the perfect texture, broth was on point, and portion size was just huge. Highly recommend their mandu as well. Usually restaurant kimchis taste meh and are nowhere near as good as a Korean mom’s, but their yeolmu kimchi got pretty close!

This place is awesome. Came back all the way from Australia because I was craving it. The kimchi is soooo good. Noodle soups are very big serves.

Really good, made me feel like I was back in Seoul. I loved that the bassam was warm and the broth flavors were really good.

Love the banchan but felt that the seafood kalguksu could have had more flavor.

It was just right in terms of the portion, and the noodles were chewy with a delicious taste. However, it would be better if the kimchi and radish kimchi were provided generously from the beginning according to the number of people, perhaps in a buffet style. It would also be good to inquire about the necessity of “Dadaegi”before ordering. I found out about it in the middle of my meal.

I was in L.A. for the day and asked someone for a recommendation and they suggested Hangari Kalguksu and to get the bossam.
It was delicious! Everything was so fresh and tasty, and the staff was very attentive and friendly. Each dish was flavorful and could have stood on its own, but the combination made it amazing. The daikon in the sauce was my favorite side dish, and the pork bossam was definitely star of the show. I highly recommend this place and I'm very happy I went with this suggestion!

Ate there two weeks ago and lost my water bottle there. Called them the same night and confirmed they have it. Told me to pick up anytime before 9:30pm. I went there today only to know they don’t keep it anymore. The waiter told me they usually keep the stuff left by customers at the top of their register, but will empty it when there’re too many things. What I saw today is an empty table with nothing. The waiter was speaking Korean with another waiter with smiles but not explaining any further information to me.
To be fair, the food was good. I’m just so disappointed in how they deal with simple things like this.

cold buckwheat noodles were 10/10, sweet and tangy soup. I wished they had the soy bean ones but they said it’s summer only. the portions are massive, we got the clam and pumpkin kalguksu, noodles were thick and chewy.

Had their Bossam and Kalguksu. The Bossam pork belly was tender but flavorful. The mouth feel of the noodles was wonderful and the broth was velvety and rich. Fast, efficient and actually friendly service despite being very busy.

Probably the best Kalguksu (knife cut noodles) around. In my opinion, LA is better than Garden Grove location although GG offers 오징어튀김 (fried squid). Worst part is parking. Very limited, may need to park on street which is also limited. Recommend going during off hours.

Best Kalguksu noodles. My mom's soup should be worried.

Everything tastes great!
Highly recommend Hangari's famous bossam! The only problem is it comes with a tiny bowl of rice (maybe 2 tablespoonful only?) Even with extra rice for $3, it's still another 2 spoonful of rice only.
Service is just soso, but will return for the yummy bossam!

Costumer services need to be improved. When we finished our food, they seemed to be rushing us out.

This is the place to come if you think of the taste of Korean noodles with seafood soup. There are always a lot of people. If you order, they give you free barley rice bibimbap, which is also delicious. The amount of noodles is really large, so it's good to keep that in mind when ordering. Next time, I'll try ordering the amazing fried food here.

The clam kalguksu boosts the robust anchovy soup, adding depth to the flavor. For an extra dollar, you can opt for chewy sujebi noodles, which are a delightful alternative.
The meal starts with a mini barley rice appetizer paired with spicy gochujang, offering a satisfying beginning.
Definitely worth visiting for a true taste of Korean traditional noodles!
