This little restaurant in Little Tokyo transports visitors to Japan. We take a seat at the counter, facing theitamae - the chef who prepares the sushi - who works before our very eyes. We love the authentic, hushed ambience, the ban on cell phones and, above all, the exceptional quality of the sushi. While everything is delicious, we recommend you try the miso soup and tuna toro, which are hard to find in Japanese restaurants in France. A great address! Be prepared to wait a little at the entrance.

Good “bang for your buck” sushi!—quote from my friend.
We love everything here.
Amazing sweet shrimp (GET THE SOUP FOR THE HEADS), uni, scallops, toro. If I could do over, I would get 10 sweet shrimp sushi and drink 2 bowls of the soup and call it a day. The long walk in wait is worth it.
No frills food that you can feel most of your $$ is going towards fresh ingredients instead of plating gimmicks or ambience or service stuff I don’t care about. 100/100 recommend, so glad we went.
You cannot book a table in here, and there is always a line in the evening, so make sure to come here earlier to enjoy the dinner.
We waited an hour to be seated, it’s popular and like I said, small. Went across the street and got a drink then when we returned we were seated. WORTH THE WAIT.
